"Full Moon Fever Blog Hop"

Welcome to the "Full Moon Fever Blog Hop" you should have reached here from "Michelle Perketts blog (Sara)

It's that time of year again "Halloween" is almost upon us and for all those who celebrate, it's one fun filled time. Where would we be without the imagination of the children dressing up and trick or treating all around their neighbourhoods.

My card follows the theme of imagination and I have used the Michelle Perkett image "Imagine" to represent this.I used a Martha Stewart punch "Drippy Goo" for edges on the three main pieces and the stars are punched from my stash. The background blue card has been embossed using the CB 5 x 7 folder Polka Dots

All Michelle's images can be viewed and purchased through her store here. She has lots of absolutely fabulous digi images ranging from Fairies and Mermaids to Doggies and Christmas

In Queensland , Australia where I live we really don't have a specific celebration at this time but in England where I was born we would be leading up to "Guy Fawkes Night" on the 5th November. This celebrates the almost blowing up of Parliament a long time ago. We always had a huge bonfire and fireworks with a "Guy" ( sort of scarecrow) to place on top of the fire to burn. We had so much fun in the lead up to the fire , collecting wood and old furniture from around the neighbourhood and stacking it and keeping guard on it so another rival gang couldn't steal it. Those were the days.

This is the "Snow Goddess" By Michelle Perkett as you can see she makes a perfectly beautiful Christmas card
Thankyou for stopping by and your next stop on the hop will be Margie's blog enjoy yourselves

Thanks for telling the story of Guy Fawkes.... we would celebrate Nov 5 here too, and as a child it was a great event. Of course the powers that be decided to ban fireworks, thus ending our fun. Our only fireworks here are at News Year Eve now.....

  16. Pauline, thank you for sharing your story of your tradition of Guy Fawkes. I had no idea of that tradition. I love that you used so many different elements in your Imagine card. The snow goddess is so pretty in red and you made her pop by using the blue. Thanks for sharing and "TRICK OR TREAT".
