Last week or so

Have not been able to post anything for just over a week as have been looking after my grandchildren during the School Holidays, fortunatley my Husband is home today and he is keeping them amused while I type away on the computer.

These two angels are the result of a class taken on CDAC - you have to be a memeber of CDAC to participate in this class but as it doesn't cost you anything, why not join there are lots of digital freebies to be had as well as some awesome groups to join. I am trying to make a lot more of these as they are so pretty but time is getting short.

This is a free image given to all participants in the Shelly's Images 12 days of Christmas project and it was given on the entry for the 3rd day of Christmas. This is a beautiful place setting that I made in green and edged in glittery gold and punched the white image out of card and wrote the name of each person on it. You still have time to get this if you scroll through the posts on the blog and while your there have a look at all the other wonderful projects.

These are two quick Christmas cards I made using a couple of images from Dustin Pike over at Doodle Dragon Studios - from his November members collection. Just love the feet

This is my Husband's Christmas card - I just love this image of Father Christmas which is a Cuddly Buddly Stamp but it's also available as a digi image
Don't think I will get enough time to post again before Christmas so hope you all have a wonderful time with your families and see you all in the New Year

"Full Moon Fever Blog Hop"

Welcome to the "Full Moon Fever Blog Hop" you should have reached here from "Michelle Perketts blog (Sara)

It's that time of year again "Halloween" is almost upon us and for all those who celebrate, it's one fun filled time. Where would we be without the imagination of the children dressing up and trick or treating all around their neighbourhoods.

My card follows the theme of imagination and I have used the Michelle Perkett image "Imagine" to represent this.I used a Martha Stewart punch "Drippy Goo" for edges on the three main pieces and the stars are punched from my stash. The background blue card has been embossed using the CB 5 x 7 folder Polka Dots

All Michelle's images can be viewed and purchased through her store here. She has lots of absolutely fabulous digi images ranging from Fairies and Mermaids to Doggies and Christmas

In Queensland , Australia where I live we really don't have a specific celebration at this time but in England where I was born we would be leading up to "Guy Fawkes Night" on the 5th November. This celebrates the almost blowing up of Parliament a long time ago. We always had a huge bonfire and fireworks with a "Guy" ( sort of scarecrow) to place on top of the fire to burn. We had so much fun in the lead up to the fire , collecting wood and old furniture from around the neighbourhood and stacking it and keeping guard on it so another rival gang couldn't steal it. Those were the days.

This is the "Snow Goddess" By Michelle Perkett as you can see she makes a perfectly beautiful Christmas card
Thankyou for stopping by and your next stop on the hop will be Margie's blog enjoy yourselves
