Gentleman's Wallet

I belong to a small group of Ladies called "The Morning Tea Club" at my local craft Shop "Stamper's and Scrapbooking Wonderland" We get together every Monday for a chat , fun eating cakes and we also make cards courtesy of Shelley and this week we made a wallet card as Father's Day is looming very close here.
I thought you might like to look at it as I think it's fantastic and looks just like a real leather wallet

We used a thick brown card for the outside and inside piece, then we ran the outside piece through the Cuttlebug using the folder "Tiny Bubbles". We then dabbed a Clear Versamark pad over the embossing and sprinkled Clear embossing powder onto this. After blasting with the heat gun it looked like shiny snakeskin leather - Cool
Then we had to make the inside piece. On the left hand side we made a clear window section so you could put a photo inside and on the right hand side we made two pockets - one for tickets or scratchits and one for a hand written note from the sender. The fastener uses a small piece of velcro.
I will be making some more of these so that my grandchildren can give one each to their Dad on Father's Day.
